01

Quotes and pricing

Quotes are based on the opening sizes, material, thickness and access described to us or confirmed at survey. A quote stays valid for 30 days. If conditions on site differ materially from what was described — hidden services, unexpected thickness, blocked access — we will stop, explain the change and confirm any revised price with you before continuing.

02

Booking and scheduling

Slots are confirmed by call or WhatsApp. We give an arrival window rather than an exact minute, and we will tell you promptly if traffic or an earlier job affects it. Please give at least 12 hours notice if you need to reschedule so the slot can be reused.

03

Site readiness

Before we arrive, the working area needs to be ready for cutting.

  • Clear access to the wall, slab or ceiling being cut
  • Furniture, appliances and valuables moved away from the area
  • A working power point and water supply, unless agreed otherwise
  • Permission from the building society or management where required

04

Structural responsibility

We cut where you instruct. For openings in load-bearing walls, beams, columns or structural slabs, approval from your architect or structural engineer is your responsibility. We will flag anything that looks structurally risky and can decline work we consider unsafe.

05

Services inside the structure

We scan for reinforcement and visible services before cutting, but concealed conduits, pipework and cables cannot always be detected. Where you know of buried services, tell us in advance. Damage to undisclosed concealed services is not our liability.

06

Dust, water and clean-up

Cutting is water-cooled with sheeting and slurry capture in place. Cores and debris are removed and the area wiped down. Cutting is still construction work, so a light film of dust in adjoining rooms is possible; tell us in advance if extra protection is required.

07

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work unless credit terms are agreed in writing for contractors and site accounts. Larger scoped projects may require a deposit before mobilisation. Accepted methods include UPI, bank transfer and cash.

08

Workmanship and liability

We stand behind the accuracy and finish of every opening we cut. If an opening does not match the agreed dimensions or position, tell us within seven days and we will correct it at no charge. Our liability is limited to the value of the work carried out, and does not extend to consequential losses such as delays to other trades.

Guides and project notes on this website are general information from our own experience, not engineering advice for your specific structure. Always confirm structural alterations with a qualified engineer.
